How does it differ from traditional fractional lasers?

  1. This laser treatment differs from traditional fractional laser skin resurfacing (like Fraxel) because it goes deeper into the dermis (deeper skin layers) targeting collagen.
  2. It delivers a controlled dermal “wound” without harming the overlying skin surface, so that all stages of healing and skin repair occur underneath the intact epidermis (skin surface). That is why patients don’t see any peeling, flaking, redness or swelling.
  3. The main advantage compared to other lasers is the patient’s comfort. No numbing is required prior to treatment. The skin heals without damaging the outer skin layer. This means there is no pain during or after the procedure.

Is ClearLift laser safe for darker skin?

This treatment can be done on all skin types (Fitzpatrick I – VI) without any danger for darker skin. We recommend three to four treatments two to four weeks apart.
