Eye Rejuvenation

The eye area can be the first to show signs of aging as the upper eyelid appears hooded and heavy, while the lower eyelid shows prominent dark circles, eye bags, and wrinkles. These features make a person look tired and older.
Puffy eyes and dark circles can be signs of certain medical conditions and could be present at any age. Often, tear troughs and dark circles are innocent aesthetic concern that can appear at any age.
We specialise & treat the following conditions:
- Crow’s feet (lines around the eye).
- Droopy eyelids.
- Tear troughs and hollowness.
- Eye bags.
- Sagging brow.
- Dark circles.
Our Approach to Eye Rejuvenation
The 4-Eye Restoration Process
Each treatment plan is custom-made for individual patients, depending on their age, and skin condition, considering hormonal, medical, hereditary and environmental factors, which are the cause of the problem. 4-Eye Restoration for an aging eye is 8th Sense’s signature approach and is designed to treat peri-orbital structures that are affected by aging.
We recommend:
- Thermage for sagging eyelids.
- Titan for prei-orbtal and brow-sagging targeting collagen.
- Clear LIFT laser I-Pixel laser and mesotherapy for crapey skin, and fine lines targeting elastin.
- Neuromodulator for smoothing crow’s feet wrinkles.
- Fillers for hollowness, tear troughs and artistic eyebrow shaping.
Identifying Early Aesthetic Concerns
Besides aging eyes, 8th Sense can address any other concern that can be present in a younger population, such as dark circles and tear troughs.
We can also identify medical conditions that can contribute to aesthetic concerns in the eye area which need a medical and not aesthetic approach; such as puffy eyes and periorbital swelling.
FAQ
8th SENSE recommends a multi-modality holistic approach with superficial chemical peels and cryotherapy, laser resurfacing, a topical treatment for hyperpigmentation, continuous prevention of photo-aging with sunblock and good cosmeceutical anti-aging eye cream. We will address underlying medical conditions by using integrative medical approach should we find a reason for it. (Please read above explanation about the causes of dark circles.)

Yes! It is an innovative approach in which a filler with specific properties (less swelling) is used and strategically placed beneath the skin, almost creating a “film” between the skin and underlying structures. That makes capillaries less visible and decreases the shadow.
Crow’s feet/hyperkinetic wrinkles around the eyes are the result of photoaging and hyperactivity of the orbicularis muscle. They worsen during menopause, with the loss of collagen and elastin. 8th Sense recommends treatment with neuromodulator to diminish the muscle action. Results are visible after two weeks of treatment as hyperkinetic wrinkles disappear.
True eye bags are caused when the fat, that occupies the space around the eye, becomes displaced and sags, making the eyes look puffy. In mild cases, we recommend strategically placing a filler below displacement that can provide the support for protruding fat. Additionally, the fat can be dissolved with lipolytic injections. More advanced cases will need surgical removal. Puffiness and swelling (pseudo eye bags) are usually caused by a medical condition, such as low thyroid, kidney and detoxification problems, allergies, as well as alcohol abuse and the overconsumption of junk food. 8th Sense recommends a holistic and integrative medical approach to find the cause and adequate treatment.
